My name is Richard Hart and I am a Dad hailing from Vancouver, British Columbia Canada.
I started a journey a few months ago to learn all I could about global warming and how it will impact the world and my wife and two children. As a parent, I am deeply concerned with the impact we are having on the planet and our future prosperity as a species if we continue on our current path and way of thinking and behaving.
My intent is to share what I learn along my journey with other parents and anyone else who shares my concerns, hopes and dreams. I believe if parents and people in general are well informed and have access to good information, they will be able to make better decisions.
I’ve spent that last decade of my life engaged in technology and education and I believe both of these things are important parts of the solutions to the challenges that lay before us.
From what I have learned so far, I don’t believe this challenge can be solved by government alone. Governments tend to be slow to take action and it has become increasingly apparent that time is of the essence. I’m am going to do my best to help make some sense of what’s going on and offer insight and ideas into what you and I can do now to start building a brighter future for ourselves and the generations to come.
I believe that each and everyone one us will play a part in the challenges and opportunities we are facing .
We got in to this together and will get out of it together.
